The Most High is Trustworthy in the big and the sm The Most High is Trustworthy in the big and the small things. I have resisted YHWH's "micromanaging" of my affairs. It seems like every time I do ANYTHING, I can hear the Holy Spirit: "Don't buy that." "Add this ingredient instead." "Do your hair this way." I find myself wondering, is this really God? Does God really care about the way I season my food, do my hair, or the stationery addiction I have (whoops)? The short answer is yes. In fact, all these little things comprise the daily fabric of our lives. He doesn't just care about the major life milestones-- where we will live, where we work, growing your family. He also cares about your sleep, your beauty routine, your mundane homemaking rhythm. It's taken me a few years to get to a place where I fully understand and accept that I can TRUST Him, not just when I need something big, but when I need something small as well. And every single time I heed the Holy Spirit, whether it's for my meals or my presentation, it always turns out better than it would had I leaned on my own understanding. What's that tiny area of your life you're not quite ready to fully submit just yet?
