I’m Raabasha Alohalani
An Israelite woman of Aniyunwiya descent who once had no faith that I would be redeemed, but the ELAHA of Abraham, Itzaaq, and Yaaqob has made a believer out of me!
I’m a mother, a wife, and a full-time homemaker living in northern VA. I’ve been blogging my homemaking, marriage, and motherhood journey as a Messianic Torah-Observer since 2019, and podcasting about it since 2021!
I spend most of my time doing the cliche: cooking, cleaning, serving my family and reading books borrowed from my local library.
But my journey to get here didn’t begin as beautiful as it looks today. In fact, if you search around my blog long enough, you’ll spot the many times I’ve referred to myself as a female Job. Or when I talked about my former battles with depression, pornography addiction, and struggles as a teen mom who got pregnant at 16 and gave birth at 17. I’ve been through many hardships in life, as have we all, and some days I still feel the aftermath of very poor decision-making skills.
However, today I stand as a testament to all that The Most High is and what He can do when we call on His Name. He is still perfecting me, healing my wounds, and showing me how to walk the straight and narrow. And when I asked how I could best serve His Kingdom, not only did He appoint me as a wife and mother, He appointed me to open a space for Israelite women hoping to serve in the same way: through our families.
My blog and the Watered Womanhood podcast is my micro-ministry where I hope to inspire, inform, and invite Israelite women no matter what stage of life you’re in, to join me rebuilding The Holy City New Jerusalem by leaving with kindness, service, joy, humility, charity, mercy, lawfulness, holiness and in the way of peace just as HaMashiach Yahusha, the son of Jesse.
