Why do you care so much about what the world think

Why do you care so much about what the world thinks? Why let the world set the standard for what YOU do?

No, home is not always perfect. Our children are not always behaving the way we want or hitting the milestones we desire of them. Our husbands aren’t always what we need them to be.

But the grass isn’t greener on the other side. It may look like it, until you get there, and from that position you’ll see your own grass from a new perspective.

You will see that you were chasing grass while you already had a garden in bloom.

Don’t be that wife or mom constantly consuming and devouring images of boss babes, if that’s not where you want to be.

The Torah (Bible) says do not look upon thy neighbor’s belongings to covet them.

It’s ok to tune out the world, to protect our own minds. Not just the wars, tragedies and folly. But the “empowerment” (read: capitalism and slavery) too

We are all washing dishes, cooking meals, folding

We are all washing dishes, cooking meals, folding clothes… but are we slowing down, reading books with the children, dancing with our husbands?

When is the last time you told the to-do list “That can wait” in order to be present with family instead?

The Bible says it is better to dwell on the corner of a rooftop than in a house with a quarrelsome woman in a big house (Proverbs 21:9).

We make idols out of many things. Is it possible you idolize having the perfect home?

So much so that you’ve forgotten what makes a home truly feel like home?

It’s you ♥️ not what you do. It’s you.

Women, especially housewives, are constantly quest

Women, especially housewives, are constantly questioning where we fit in and how we’re appointed by Yah according to His Word.

In Scripture we see men lead nations, herd flocks, redeem families, offer sacrifices, build cities, command armies and everything in between. Great things for men.

But in Scripture we only see women doing things that hundreds of years later society says women should be evolving beyond:

Such as homemaking, bearing children, hosting and entertaining, and “worst of all” following men’s leadership.

We’ve lost touch with how critical our role is. Hence the constant questioning,

“Am I doing enough for Yah?”
“Am I putting my gifts to good use?”
“Couldn’t I be doing more than homemaking?”

But the Word and Yashua’s message is clear:

There is no greater telltale that you have a true relationship with The Most High than that you are a lover, through and though.

“Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.”
‭‭- 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬ ‭

He doesn’t say that offering lambs or wearing fringes or being circumcised is how people will know we are His.

He says it’s by having love. And if you are able to do that in your marriage, your home, your family and abroad, then why fret over the finite matters? What could be greater than this?
